Alexander "Otter" Vernon

Alexander “Otter” Vernon is a Licensed Massage Therapist (NM#8547) and also a Certified Core Synchronism Practitioner (CCSP). He is a graduate of the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics and has completed all seven levels of Core Synchronism.

 For more than thirty years Otter has been a carpenter, originally a residential remodeler, and, for nine of those years, a propmaker/set builder in the local film union. In 2016, he decided to change careers as a way to spend more time with his family and to focus on a healthy, natural lifestyle. He had always been interested in natural therapeutics (specifically, flower essences, homeopathy and herbal medicine), but did not realize how much he would love doing bodywork, helping clients directly, and how it would change his life for the better.

 Otter specializes in Core Synchronism, Polarity Therapy, and Myofascial Release. Since 2021, he has taught Polarity Therapy, Bach Flower Essences and Windows of the Sky at the Albuquerque School of Healing Arts (ASHA). He is also a practitioner (of 25+ years) and Professor of the Afro-Brazilian Art of Capoeira, an avid wilderness enthusiast and a dedicated mycophile.

He is the father of five children and lives in the North Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife, Hayley, and his two youngest sons.
